01 / ABOUT THE PLACE

About this place

Just along the stairway connecting the pedestrian deck and ticket gates outside Narimasu Station, cafe Honoka maintains a quiet storefront. Perched slightly apart from the rush of commuters, the interior carries the calm, nostalgic atmosphere of a classic Showa-era kissaten.

The dining menu stands out for its wide choice of curries. Options include a dry keema curry textured with minced meat and mushrooms, alongside slow-simmered European-style beef curry, beef sinew curry, and butter chicken. Hearty stews are also featured, including a demi-glace beef stew with beef and vegetables, and a rich chicken cream stew deepened with cheese, each served with a choice of rice or bread.

For a lighter bite or an afternoon pause, bread sets feature egg and cheese toast, pizza toast, and croissant sandwiches. When stopping in for coffee or dessert, classic iced or blended coffee pairs well with cake sets that include cheesecake with blueberry sauce or apple tart.
